DTI Our goal is to become the leading supplier of quality biomass fuels throughout the UK for both power stations and smaller users alike. Through continued research into logistics, new fuels, economics and crop yields we aim to become the leading authority on the potential for biomass projects. Supporting our core business of promoting energy crops (Short Rotation Coppice Willow) and other forms of biomass is the knowledge and experience of our two partner companies in Sweden - Agrobränsle AB and Lantmännen Agroenergi. Accredited virgin timber supply Our Objectives to help Power Stations: Providing a wide range of quality biomass fuels, derived from the UK and European agricultural, forest and sawmill industries. Continued development into new fuels and supply chains to increase fuel effectiveness and reduce cost. Management of fuels supply logistics ensuring efficient delivery of quality fuels. Our Objectives to help Fuel Growers: Providing long-term contracts for sustainable fuel supply. Establishment, management and harvesting of high quality, high yielding Energy Crops in the form of SRC willow. Feasibility studies to assess land for the potential of biomass production.
